Care and sanitation of AgroVita+ fruits

To arrive fresh and tasty to consumers, Agrovita+ fruits pass by a rigorous sanitation process. The sanitary procedures begin in the field and follow a quality control until the pakings houses, where the fruits are packed and prepared for external transport.

All harvest tools are cleaned at the beginning and at the end of the day with an appropriate solution. When the fruits arrive at the paking house, they are disinfected in appropriate tanks that receive chlorine as an oxidizer and citric acid to lower the pH of the water to an ideal range of 6.0 to 6.5. The fruits are also cleaned with natural product, without the presence of any agrochemicals.

In addition, the transportation wagons pass through washing and sweeping whenever necessary and all containers and carts that arrive at the farms and do the external fruits transport are sprayed with peracetic acid solution before loading the cargo.
